A co-design project creating a sustainable hat. Through this project, the team and I wanted to explore various facets of adaptability. As we live in an environment with distinct seasons and changing weather, we wanted to come up with a product that will be adapted to the needs of our climate. Tailored for outdoor usage, we want our product to be accessible and
fitting to various populations
and their realities. With our product, we wanted to be
able to help people who experience
life outdoors and are sensitive to the
weather, such as nature lovers or
people experiencing homelessness. Additionally, since the target
the audience for the pop-up shop would
be mostly adults from Montreal and its
surroundings, we wanted to create a
the product that would sell well to raise
money for non-profit organizations. Part of my task was to create a social media page to promote the hat. I photographed and took videos. I also created visuals such as the logo and informational displays. The team was able to promote and sell hats through the Instagram page. All hats sold out and the proceeds went to local charities such as: Chez Doris, Saint-James, and Dans la rue.
